When it can’t wait
If you smell burning, see sparks or scorch marks, or a breaker won’t stay on, turn off the affected circuit or the main breaker if it’s safe to do so, and call us. If there’s smoke or fire, leave the building and call 911.
Done properly
We trace faults to the source, explain what we found and what it will take to fix, and make repairs to code. Where a permit is required, we pull it.
Common questions
Why does my breaker keep tripping?
Usually an overloaded circuit, a faulty appliance or a wiring fault. Arc-fault and ground-fault breakers can also trip on damaged cords or moisture. We test to find out which.
Is a flickering light dangerous?
Sometimes it’s just a bulb or dimmer mismatch, but it can also be a loose connection. If it affects several lights or comes with buzzing or warmth, have it checked.
Do you do small jobs?
Yes. From a single outlet or fixture to a full troubleshooting visit.
